PRESSURE WASHING SERVICE AGREEMENT
Between [Business] (“Contractor”) and [Customer] (“Client”) for the property at [address].
- Scope and price. Contractor will clean: [surfaces and measurements] for $[total]. Additional work requires written approval.
- Pre-existing conditions. Client acknowledges that oxidation, chalking or loose paint, failed window seals, cracked or loose mortar, and worn sealants may be revealed or worsened by cleaning. Contractor is not responsible for damage arising from these pre-existing conditions.
- Stains. Rust, oil, irrigation, tannin and organic stains may not be fully removable. Results are not guaranteed for these.
- Water and access. Client provides a working outdoor water source and access to all areas; vehicles moved and pets secured.
- Plants and runoff. Contractor will pre-wet and rinse landscaping near treated areas. Client will disclose sensitive plants, ponds or drains.
- Weather. Work may be rescheduled for rain, high wind or freezing temperatures without penalty to either party.
- Payment. $[deposit] due at booking; balance due on completion. Late payments accrue [__]% per month.
- Insurance. Contractor carries general liability insurance; certificate available on request.
- Damage reporting. Client will report any claimed damage within [7] days of service.

It is strongly advisable - a signed agreement with a pre-existing-damage clause is the main protection against disputes. In California, jobs of $1,000+ also trigger CSLB licensing rules.
What is a pressure washing liability waiver?
